Rafting sport is particularly popular in countries with wild rivers. As Greece has plenty of wild landscapes and rough rivers, many clubs organize frequent rafting excursions to these areas. The most popular areas to practice rafting in Greece are found in Northern Greece and the Peloponnese.

Note that some excursions last for more than one day and may combine rafting with other sports, such as trekking or horse riding.

The descent is of 2nd degree of difficulty, starting from Loussios, continuing to Alfios River, and ending to the spectacular bridge of "Koukos". At first, our guides will teach you the rafting basics so you can easily control the raft and enjoy the route. During the descent, you will also have the chance to swim in the river and admire the unique nature of Greek mainland. In the end, lunch will be served in the rafting base.

Rafting in river Alfeios is a spectacular experience for visitors of Peloponnese. Alfeios is 111 klm long and is the most important river in Southern Greece. Located in central Peloponnese (two hours journey from Athens), river Alfeios is considered to be an outstanding destination for rafting and κayaking.

Grading from 2 up to 4, this amazing river is a perfect mix of tranquility and pure adventure. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy stunning views of enormous trees and rocky landscapes, while feeling the excitement of a strenuous activity.

The region of Alfeios is a destination of unique beauty, as travellers have the chance to enjoy rafting through narrow canyons, surrounded by huge rocks and an outstanding variety of flora.
